"The creatures all disappeared in Level 1 after I built a laser tower" is good, and may help in getting your issue resolved.
"The creatures all disappeared in Level 1 after I built a laser tower. They always disappear in Level 1 after building a laser tower, unless I wait until wave 16 before building a laser tower. Then they do not disappear." is extremely helpful information, as that indicates a definite bug with a clear method of reproduction.
